Wiarton Parks & Gardens
This 100-acre nature reserve is home to three distinct perrenial gardens. Visitors can also take a walk on the hiking trail and learn about organic farming from the hosts. Rural Roots also has a variety of plants for sale.
Curio Garden features multi-level gardens that are composed of a variety of shrubs and perennials.
Bluewater Park is home to the famous sculpture of the weather forecasting, albino groundhog, Wiarton Willie. It is also home to an historic Victorian train station that was originally constructed in 1904. The park has a ball diamond and children's playground, a boat launch and long dock for fishing or taking a casual walk.
A variety of natural attractions, activities and amenities lure visitors to Sauble Falls Provincial Park. Every year salmon and trout attempt to hurdle the Falls in hopes of spawning upstream. Novice canoeists also frequent the park, as it is a terminus of the Rankin River canoe route. The park is also home to a campground.
